Pure Painters Uses Local Products

Pure Painters is committed to cutting down environmentally dangerous emissions, and supporting the local economy by working with primarily local manufacturers of eco-friendly paint and equipment.

• Most of our paint is made right here in Vancouver
• We think about how far every item has to travel to get to us before we purchase it
• We live in a rainforest -- and our products are made for this climate
• We know and support that buying local products keeps jobs in our community

Pure Painters is Environmentally Efficient

Efficient transportation is a an environmental necessity for a mobile service. Pure Painters is an eco-friendly painting contractor, and we take this very seriously, going to great lengths to cut fuel emissions down in our everyday work.

• Only our foremans drive trucks to work -- our crews either carpool with them or will take transit (this is encouraged)
• We have a warehouse that houses all of our equipment -- we only take what we need to do the job (not every tool we own), keeping the weight down in our vehicles
• In the near future, Pure Painters will be purchasing an eco-friendly Smart Car for all of our estimate travel (Check out our future buy here)

Pure Painters is an Eco-Friendly Painting Contractor

We are a family company and we know that you will do whatever you can to protect your loved ones -- so will we. That's why Pure Painters uses only Low VOC paints (low in volatile organic compounds) and non-toxic primers.

• We  will always chose to protect you, your family and our painting contractors regardless of cost
• We use only Low VOC paints and Non-Toxic Shellac Primers (check out our blog post on why VOCs are bad for your health -- and they're bad for fish and wildlife too!)
• We are constantly looking for new ways to reduce our waste and consumption
• When we buy environmentally friendly products, we encourage the environmentally friendly market to grow

Whether through community and charity work (we give back 3% of everything we earn -- you can help us decide where it should go here), or our day to day commitment to you and the environment, Pure Painters will lead the painting industry by example -- because you are important to us, and so is the world we live in.
